As the guitar player and a vocalist in the seminal family band, Cherryholmes and now, Sideline, Skip Cherryholmes’ story is one of bootstrap beginnings and a fast rise to the top. Although now disbanded, Cherryholmes blazed a trail for young bluegrass artists, and their legacy remains an important one.
